Edge of the Snow
Still playing with the palette knife. It's always a toss up between being too abstract or too realistic. I'm not thrilled with this but I like parts of it. 9 x 12 oil on canvas
I love ALL of it! In the close-up view, it was so delightful to see the myriad and variety of palette knife applications and observe the change of direction and thickness of paint for every shift in value. You've inspired me to try this technique!
