PRACTICING PORTRAITS
I have recently been watching Portrait Artist of the Year 2020 on You Tube. It is fascinating and fun to watch professional and non professional artists compete to win an ultimate prize of a 10,000 pound commission. Each week 9 artists are chosen from their self portrait submissions and they are separated into 3 groups with a model in each. The model is someone well known in Britain...some I recognize. They have 4 hours to complete the painting.
Well, I decided I needed to try these as well so I take screen shots of the models and go from there. Here are three so far.
