Landgrove Inn Workshop Demos

Just finished teaching a three day Pastle Figure workshop at the gorgeous and wonderful Landgrove Inn in Landgrove, VT...Had a great time, great students, great food, wonderful owners.  Check it out.  They do lots of workshops and it's all great!  Here are some of my demos

This demo, once again, was a way to inspire students to be inspired but certainly not tied to a photo.

Selected for IAPS 22nd Annual Juried Show

 I am happy and proud to announce that "Clothesline" and "Three on a Bench" have been selected for the International Association of Pastel Societies 22nd annual juried show!

Arles Square

Arles Square is a 9 x 12 pastel.  I have done this image in oil as well...a slightly different challenge in pastel

Rowboats

 This is an 18 x 18 inch oil on canvas that was painted from this photo.  I wanted my students understand the idea that a photo is only a starting point and what you do with it is the painting.
