17th Annual AIS Juried Show

I am thrilled, honored and frankly a bit surprised to announce that my painting, "Freezing River" has been accepted to the 17th Annual American Impressionist Society's National Juried Show.

Side Street Felaria

Finished this 9 x 12 oil on board in my studio today.  When I was in Felaria where my niece lives, I walked by this street each day...loved the light!

Tuscan Hills

Last demo for my oil class til the Fall.  This is Tuscan Hills inspired by one of my reference photos from Italy.

This 8 x 10 is my morning oil demo.  I passed this bridge often in Rome going over the Tiber River

New London Workshop

Had a great workshop in New London, NH.  First day was in "downtown" New London and the second day was at a beautiful beach on Pleasant Lake.  Had fun with the boat...a little 6 x 6

Italy again

I struggled with this one.  Some good suggestions have been made...making the figure on the left less strong, cropping out the sky.  All good suggestions.
