This is my first oil demo of 2016.  You can see the beginning of it...thinking of just seeing shapes and values before completing details.  Wanted to keep it loose but recognizable

Art Sale

A couple of new one...the chickens were my demo from my oil class.

I will be having my annual art sale on Friday and Saturday, December 18 and 19 from 10 to 3 at my studio corner of Rt 4 and Quechee, Main St (Fat Hat Corner) in Quechee, VT.   Hope to see some of you!

California Dreaming

California Dreaming...12 x 16 oil on canvas was my demo today.  I wanted to talk about the way the sky can keep the same value but change in hue to bring out the light on the trees

This is a 12 x 16 oil on board and a demo from my oil class.  I also posted the beginning...and you can see how loose it begins...just  a generalized view of what goes where in design.  Then a couple of steps towards the finish.
