Oil Painters of America National Juried Show

WOW!  Pontoon Boat has been accepted to the Oil Painters of America's National Juried Show! This is the toughest one and though I am now a signature member, this is only the 4th time one of my paintings has been accepted.  I'm surprised and thrilled!

  1. Amazing--a Signature Member feels lucky to be included! Art competitions always astonish. This is a lovely & timely piece. I'd just decided to do an 'all neutral'pastel w/ small spots of color. You've posted a perfect example. Thanks & I hope you win--MaryB

    1. Thanks Mary...it's a show so don't expect any winnings. I think I tried for at least 15 years to get into the OPA shows and you need 3 acceptances in order to apply for signature status...which I finally got when I applied. This is only the 4th time I've gotten into their national show...so yeah, astonishing! Good luck with your pastel
