last two landgrove
My last two demos at Landgrove Inn. The horses are oil and the street scene pastel. Both were done with the concept of seeing things only as shapes...abstracting what you are looking at in order to create an illustrative painting
Aline, all of your Landgrove pieces are stunning. I love how you carve out shapes with negative space & how elegantly you abstract your subjects. Do you still use Colorfix terra cotta for much of your pastel work? Whatever it is, you really make the tone of the paper work for you. I am always inspired by you! Thanks for posting-MaryB
