Morning demo...8 x 10 oil on board. Talked about a few things...that the foreground and everything behind it can't compete...and that all those whit boats can't be the same. I put the photo reference below so you can see the amount of simplification and editing. A photo should inspire but not control you
You're SO right Aline. A photo should only inspire us!! This is painted so beautifully...LOVE this one....
