PSA Workshop

9th Avenue  9 x 12 pastel
 Just back from teaching a 3 day "plein air" workshop with the Pastel Society of America.  It's in quotes because the first two days weather prevented us from heading out. Fun anyway and great group!

    Aline, these paintings are just awesome! Wow. You are such a master of capturing an entire 'story' with just a few strokes of pastel. Your compositions are always perfect even when your works looked as though they were "tossed off" in just a few minutes--that's how fresh & spontaneous your works always appear. You are always an inspiration to me, Aline. I want to grab some pastels & practice painting humans the way you do. Truly amazing. Thanks so much for this great blog.

      Thanks Mary. I was disappointed not to be able to do them all on location but weather was crap til Sunday. Way more challenging en plein air I must say!
