AIS Small Works Show
Happy to announce that "Cafe in Pienza" was accepted into the American Impressionist Society's Small Works Show
I was trying to paint such a plein air scene in Paris, sunny with cast shadows, but not very warm colored; the yellows I tried to install did not work. Right when I saw this painting I thought 'that's what the light was like!' So well done, thanks for the insight.
Rob and I think this might be "our" cafe in Pienza. Whether it is or is not, your painting deserves to be part of the AIS show.
