I plan to post current paintings on my blog site. I'm not much of a writer but I do love to paint. I do oils and pastels and I teach workshops. I plan to sometimes post demos and talk about how to create a painting as well.

PACE 17
I just returned from the huge Plein Air Convention in San Diego...wow. Fabulous artists and demos and very intense. These are some of my efforts.
Aline, these paintings are all so charming! I am partial to the bright pastel one, but I love the oils, too. You use lots of neutrals so that the touches of color pack a BIG punch. I notice this in the single boat painting--the blue cover on the mast is the 'star'along with the red behind it.I considered attending the conference but it seemed like it would be super-crowded. (And I don't like crowds.) But--maybe next time. L&K, MaryB
