It has been a difficult time in the studio. I have been very lucky not to be affected physically by Hurricane Irene, but emotionally we are all here in Vermont affected. I have not felt like painting and forced myself to finish something. I have no idea if it works or how I feel about it. I think sometimes, you need a break and need to revitalize away from your art in order to return to it...I hope!
I'm a bit biased ...I love this painting. Glad to hear you forced yourself to finish this painting, Aline...sometimes we all need to walk away from our art....and return with a fresher outlook. Glad to hear you weren't physically affected by the Hurricane!!
