I plan to post current paintings on my blog site. I'm not much of a writer but I do love to paint. I do oils and pastels and I teach workshops. I plan to sometimes post demos and talk about how to create a painting as well.

Sea Rocks
Home from Maine now...but missing it. This is the shoreline pretty much everywhere. Painting rocks is always a challenge...to make them look like rocks but be interesting as shapes and colors as well.
Rocks are HARD!!! I've kept two of your Bayview Press cards for years and am glad I finally checked out your blog/gallery page. I hope to be painting/living in your vicinity sometime in 2012. (not much use for greens in Texas.)
Your work is always an inspiration, Aline. This painting is definitely a favorite with the soft and yet powerful colors. I love this one!!
