May was a busy month! I taught workshops in Black Mountain, NC, Hilton Head, SC and East Aurora, NY
My North Carolina and East Aurora workshops were all plein air and my Hilton Head was inside. Here are some of my demos. I must say I felt so welcome everywhere and had wonderful students!

Ashville and Hilton Head Workshops
Busy month! I flew to Ashville in the beginning of May and taught a really fun workshop in Black Mountain, North Carolina. It was a plein air figure in the landscape. Then I went on to Hilton Head for a pastel only workshop. I was so fortunate to be with wonderful people and my hosts in both places were the best!

TWO PORTRAITS FOR A FRIEND
I struggled to create these two portraits of a friend's children to thank him for a great kindness and fun day in California. Tried a few in pastel but settled on these oils in the end.
