 Some rolling thunder and not a great plein air day on Swans Island.  Caught these two the other day with my iphone...good day to paint inside.

 It was hot day yesterday but a cool breeze by this little inlet where I painted.

Swan's Island Pastel

First plein air on Swan's Island this summer.  I was out and about and not actually planning on painting.  I looked down and saw this scene and quickly set up my pastels.

IAPS 2022

 INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PASTEL SOCIETIES 2022 CONVENTION

I had a fabulous time at the IAPS convention where I was able to meet up with a lot of pastel peeps.  I taught a two day workshop, gave a demo and was part of a 5 people paint around...great fun.
