LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY WORKSHOP

I am just back from a wonderful workshop in Lexington, Kentucky.  I never knew how beautiful it is there!  I taught pastels with a great group of students, but another highlight was being taken to Keenland Race track where I was able to take a lot of photo references of horses, riders and racing horses.  I look forward to working on them.

 Finally finished this 9 x 12 oil.  

LAST ONE FROM MAINE

 This is an iconic Maine scene.  After this painting I was working on another one but my back went out.  Work hazard.  So now just swimming in the quarry and hanging out.

 I had some fun with figures this week.  The first is a 9 x 12 pastel called "I Spy"

The second started out as a demo for my Monday Morning Oil class and then finished in my studio.
