I plan to post current paintings on my blog site. I'm not much of a writer but I do love to paint. I do oils and pastels and I teach workshops. I plan to sometimes post demos and talk about how to create a painting as well.

This is beautiful, Aline! At first, I thought you were on a trip to Japan because of the name of the mountain.But the cloud crawling along the mountain is great, very atmospheric. Also, I loved "On the Pond" (pastel!) and your Birch Tree demo. Both have lovely patterns of darks & lights, something I am always attracted to. Congratulations on your Signature OPA status--you deserve it! I'm having a bit of dry spell with art but I'm always drawing. It's cold & dreary here in the Bay Area; I just want to hibernate. Thanks Mary. I have had many of those dry spells and hope they mean growth not complete lethargy. Well, we have been having subzero temps here...just now changing to warmer weather. Been a difficult winter in some ways. Thanks always for your nice comments!
