I plan to post current paintings on my blog site. I'm not much of a writer but I do love to paint. I do oils and pastels and I teach workshops. I plan to sometimes post demos and talk about how to create a painting as well.

Foggy Light Maine
12 x 24 oil on canvas
I love the light when it's foggy in the distance and hard to see the demarkation of the sea and sky but there are still lights on the boats and buildings
LOVE this painting! I just returned from a plein air workshop in a little coastal town. Day 2 was a foggy day so the lesson consisted in depicting the varying gray hues and rendering impressions of the wharf and boats. Yours is a perfect example, and one that inspires me to practice, practice, practice! Thank you so much for sharing.
