Aline, this is just amazing! To me, it looks almost like you used cut rice paper for the 'light.' I love the softness of the close, peachy tones coupled with the sharpness of the jagged trees on the left. The round soft peach shapes also look great with the angular roofs. It really is effective to 'cluster' the jagged trees & angled roofs the way you have. I'm just knocked out, Aline, I really am. I think this is a beautiful piece! Lovely color harmony &, as I keep saying, brilliant composition. I am inspired! L&K, MaryB
Thanks Mary...most of it was done with a palette knife so I could get the sharper edges and then scrape the paint on almost "dying" the canvas in the big soft area.
