I plan to post current paintings on my blog site. I'm not much of a writer but I do love to paint. I do oils and pastels and I teach workshops. I plan to sometimes post demos and talk about how to create a painting as well.

New London House and Diners
New London House
Diners
A couple from the studio this hot week.
New London House is 12 x 16 oil on board
Aline, I love both of these pieces. You do greens so well. They are all varied but totally natural. Your patented coral-pinks lead me around the piece by my nose & I never want to leave. Very restful sense of place. As for 'Diners,' I am always amazed by how much you express in humans with no faces! It is all body language, the cant of a head, someone's face in their hands. Amazing. You are a very courageous painter, in my opinion, Aline. You let your viewer 'complete' the story in your picture. You know just when to stop putting in detail. To me, that's the sign of a real master--which is just what I think you are. (And that's why YOU pull in the Big Bucks...) L&K, MaryB
