I plan to post current paintings on my blog site. I'm not much of a writer but I do love to paint. I do oils and pastels and I teach workshops. I plan to sometimes post demos and talk about how to create a painting as well.

Mackinac Town
Mackinac Town, oil on canvas 12" x 24" was a challenge. I wanted to simplify the complex image into shapes, colors and let the values lead us into the picture.
This is outstanding, Aline. A beautiful subject and you placed all those wonderful details perfectly...A success because those values did lead us in the picture!!! EXCELLENT!!!
