I plan to post current paintings on my blog site. I'm not much of a writer but I do love to paint. I do oils and pastels and I teach workshops. I plan to sometimes post demos and talk about how to create a painting as well.

pastel silver demo
A pastel demo to show how to paint silver...don't think silver, just paint the shapes you see til it evolves
WOW! What a demo painting, Aline! You make it look so easy. This is a gorgeous piece and how I wish you didn't live so far away!!!! The colors are amazing!!!
I agree with hmuxo above--this is a DEMO?! I could work for a month & not come close to this. It is gorgeous & you do make it seem so easy, Aline! Actually, I fell right into the trap when I first saw it: "OK, so I just paint shapes 'til it evolves but what color is the silver.." Wham--it hit me.'Silver' IS all the reflected shapes & their colors. That's the whole point.
Your students are so lucky to have you as their instructor, Aline. You are a fount of knowledge & you freely divulge the secret alchemy of making 3-D come alive in a 2-D medium. Your art should be selling through Southeby's... L&K, MaryB

Thank you both. I gave my students the assignment of painting a glass jar with something in it and just look at shapes. Fun to try
