I was very honored to be asked to do a pastel demonstration from a live model at the American Impressionist 25th Anniversary in Rockport, MA. I shared the stage with a wonderful painter, Eric Jacobsen who did an oil demo of a landscape. He was so good and so delightful...made an otherwise a bit stressful situation better.
I had a totally wonderful time teaching pastels and oils with the Coastal Maine Workshops in Rockland, Maine. The weather was amazing and we were out every day painting. Great group! Here are some of my demos...all 9 x 12

I see this house a lot on Swans Island, Maine and always love the contrast between the white house, red truck and the blue water behind...very patriotic???
I was having a great time painting while here on Swans Island, Maine but my back went into spasm...it does that sometimes...ugh. Here are the other two I did before that happened.
