 My demo from my oil class yesterday.  I start with defining the color fields and then get more detailed.

So, I am no watercolorist but I have been playing with them from time to time.  I admire artists who do beautiful watercolors and I feel to really know it's one of your mediums, you need to be able to do it all....still lifes, figures, landscapes and plein air.  I am far away from that but enjoyed this and feel I learned some stuff

This is my first oil demo of 2016.  You can see the beginning of it...thinking of just seeing shapes and values before completing details.  Wanted to keep it loose but recognizable

Art Sale
