Water Wading

Water wading is a 9 x 12 oil demo from class on Monday.  I wanted to create movement and color and keep it loose.  Not sure if it's finished.

Base of the Mountain

Base of the Mountain is a pastel demo from this morning's pastel class.  I was given a photo one of my students was using and it had a lot going on so simplification was in order.

My demo from my pastel class.  The original photo below  had more elements and I simplified it for this image.  It was a lesson in design as well as color and value.
