Evolution of Sitting Room

 These are steps in creating the final painting.  You can see I start with a rough sketch and then fill in the shapes and color fields.  I got more detailed in class and after the demo is my final painting.  I'm actually not sure I don't like the color field one the best.

Prix de Pastel IAPS

I am truly amazed..truly...to find out that my pastel, Golden Light, was chosen Prix de Pastel at the 2018 International Association of Pastel Societies National juried show in Tacoma.  This is the top award given, and given the amazing work that was on display, I am humbled and yes, amazed.
