These are steps in creating the final painting. You can see I start with a rough sketch and then fill in the shapes and color fields. I got more detailed in class and after the demo is my final painting. I'm actually not sure I don't like the color field one the best.
I see what you mean, but your final painting does keep enough of that looseness, and the little detail in the windows is great. It's so hard to make loose strokes- I give myself the messiest brush, but I still manage to make a hard line!
