I plan to post current paintings on my blog site. I'm not much of a writer but I do love to paint. I do oils and pastels and I teach workshops. I plan to sometimes post demos and talk about how to create a painting as well.

Demos from the Fells workshop

Despite predictions of three days of sun, we had one day and 2 of rain. My students soldiered on! Heather fields was from our sunny day, but Fells Flower Pots and Playful Tree were rainy so I chose to encourage my students to think beyond the gray and green and have some fun...be courageous with color!
Yay!! Pastels! They are great, Aline. I am playing with flowers right now, too, so these pastels are most timely. I MUST simplify. My flowers are simple, but other parts of my scene are not. I need to make all parts of the piece work together. Back to the salt mine...Mary B
