Landgrove Inn 2016

Had a wonderful figure workshop at the Landgrove Inn...a terrific group, great models, a beautiful inn with wonderful food, people...and even a pond to swim in!  Here are my demos.

Island Morning

It had rained hard all night and was very foggy in the early morning.  Then all at once the fog lifted.  This is "Island Morning" 8 x 10 oil on board

Went down paint the quarry in the afternoon....took a great swim after.

Above the Rocks, Maine

Right by the light house at one end of the island you can look down and see the water against the rocks.  Hoping I achieved some of that sensation.  "Above the Rocks, Maine" is 6 x 8 oil on board

Swans Island plein airs

 Beautiful weather prevails at Swans Island here in Maine.  A couple of little plein air paintings on board, 6 x 8.  "Island Rock" and "Island Houses"
