Two demos from my oil class this morning.

Base of the Mountain

Base of the Mountain is a pastel demo from this morning's pastel class.  I was given a photo one of my students was using and it had a lot going on so simplification was in order.

Happy to announce the Oysters and Yellow Cottage have been accepted to the Randy Higbee 6" x 6" National Juried Show

Street Scene Pastel

My demo from my pastel class.  The original photo below  had more elements and I simplified it for this image.  It was a lesson in design as well as color and value.
